116 Service Line - Ministry of Gender, Children & Social Protection

The 116 Service Line is a toll-free national helpline operated by Liberia’s Ministry of Gender, Children & Social Protection (MoGCSP). It provides a confidential and accessible channel for reporting cases of child abuse, gender-based violence (GBV), human trafficking, and other forms of exploitation and neglect. Available 24/7, the service connects callers with trained social workers who offer immediate support, guidance, and referrals to protection services. The helpline plays a critical role in safeguarding vulnerable populations and promoting justice and welfare across Liberia.
