Bolo Helpline is working for the survivors of gender-based violence by providing the services of legal aid and counselling, psychological counselling, shelter, police protection, and medical aid through referral. The helpline services are just integrated with the services of the police helpline in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the facilitation and accessibility of GBV survivors. The helpline established an easily accessible centralized service for receiving complaints of Gender Based Violence including domestic violence of economic or social character within the requirement of Section 11 (a) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Domestic Violence (Prevention & Protection) Act 2021. Also, the helpline takes follow-up cases of GBV or domestic Violence with District Protection Committees.
