The Hourglass mission is simple: end the harm, abuse and exploitation of older people in the UK.

As the UK’s only charity focused on the abuse and neglect of older people, we staff a free-to-call 24/7 helpline. It’s an absolute lifeline for older men, women and their families suffering from the five forms of abuse: physical, psychological, financial, sexual or neglect.

When you reach out to us you will talk with one of our trained volunteers who are experienced in how to help people in your situation. They will listen to you, unpack your story and feelings, and work with you to help you through your challenges.
