Jeevan Aastha Helpline

The Jeevan Aastha Helpline, initiated by the Gandhinagar Police under the Suraksha Setu Project, is a 24/7, toll-free mental health support service available nationwide.

It provides confidential, non-judgmental assistance to individuals facing emotional distress, suicidal thoughts, relationship issues, addiction, academic stress, and other mental health challenges.

The helpline offers telephonic counseling by trained professionals, with escalation to senior counselors or psychiatrists when necessary. Since its inception, the helpline has successfully counseled over 120,000 individuals, saving approximately 700 lives from suicide attempts .
