About Lifeline Dominica Helpline

Lifeline Dominica Helpline provides confidential support to individuals experiencing gender-based violence, including those affected by rape, sexual abuse, or domestic violence. Our team can offer information on local reporting procedures, connect callers with support services such as shelters and counselling, and assist with referrals to government and non-government agencies.

We can help mobilise resources and contact legal aid, the police, social services, churches, and social security when needed. Our volunteers are trained in Psychological First Aid, supported by experienced women advocates, and have access to qualified counsellors and a comprehensive local resource directory. We maintain clear referral pathways to statutory health, social services, and law enforcement.

Please note: While we are here to listen and support, we are not primarily a service for individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts.
