Outlive Chatline

Outlive is a suicide prevention programme for young people aged 18 to 24 years who are in distress, experiencing difficult life situations and living in India. At Outlive Chat, trained peer supporters provide free-of-cost, anonymous emotional support to 18 to 24 years old young adults experiencing distress or having thoughts of suicide. Peer supporters are not trained to support individuals outside this age range. Those below 18 years or above 24 years are encouraged to reach out to other relevant helplines listed on this page. We are also in the process of expanding our on-ground presence across India through a staggered approach. At this stage, our work has extended to the following cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Gangtok and Chennai.

आउटलाइव 18 से 24 वर्ष की आयु के उन युवाओं के लिए एक आत्महत्या रोकथाम कार्यक्रम है जो संकट में हैं, कठिन जीवन स्थितियों का सामना कर रहे हैं और भारत में रह रहे हैं। आउटलाइव चैट में, प्रशिक्षित सहकर्मी समर्थक 18 से 24 वर्ष के युवा वयस्कों को संकट का सामना करने या आत्महत्या के विचार आने पर नि:शुल्क, गुमनाम भावनात्मक सहायता प्रदान करते हैं। सहकर्मी समर्थकों को इस आयु सीमा से बाहर के व्यक्तियों का समर्थन करने के लिए प्रशिक्षित नहीं किया जाता है। 18 वर्ष से कम या 24 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के लोगों को इस पृष्ठ पर सूचीबद्ध अन्य उपयुक्त हेल्पलाइनों से संपर्क करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया जाता है।

हम चरणबद्ध तरीके से पूरे भारत में अपनी जमीनी उपस्थिति का विस्तार करने की प्रक्रिया में हैं। वर्तमान में, हमारा काम निम्नलिखित शहरों तक विस्तारित है: दिल्ली, मुंबई, पुणे, बेंगलुरु, अहमदाबाद, गंगटोक और चेन्नई।
