The hotline “SOS Distrubi Alimentari” is a free telephone counseling service provided by specialists in eating disorders operating in the network of services dedicated to the treatment of Eating Disorders of the USL Umbria 1 (Italy), with the patronage of the family association “Mi fido di te”. The service is intended as a space for listening and guidance on eating behavior problems. Using knowledge of treatment paths and services assigned to it, the toll-free number acts as a link between the user and the care network, constituting itself as a “frontier” of the network of services specialized in Eating and Feeding disorders care. Il numero verde “SOS Disturbi Alimentari” è un servizio gratuito di counseling telefonico svolto da specialisti delle problematiche alimentari operanti nella rete dei servizi dedicati alla cura dei Disturbi Alimentari della USL Umbria 1, con il patrocinio dell’associazione dei familiari “Mi fido di te”. Il servizio si propone come spazio di ascolto e orientamento delle problematiche del comportamento alimentare. Avvalendosi della conoscenza dei percorsi di cura e dei servizi ad essa deputati, il numero verde svolge una funzione di raccordo tra utente e rete assistenziale, costituendosi come “frontiera” della rete di servizi specializzati nella cura dei DNA.
