The PEMA Helpline

1098 is the national helpline for children and other vulnerable groups. Children, women, and other vulnerable groups can avail themselves of services 24/7 during emergencies and other difficult circumstances.

We provide Psychological first aid, crisis intervention, counselling and linking to various services through the helpline. Postvention services for families coping with loss of close ones to suicide is also provided through the helpline and linked with the nearest counsellors when additional services are needed.
