Bryony House Distress Line provides free, confidential support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by phone and text message (SMS). Our trained counsellors offer emotional support, safety planning, and help navigating systems and services. The distress line is available to people living in the Halifax Regional Municipality in Nova Scotia, Canada. In addition to the distress line, Bryony House provides emergency shelter, outreach services, court support, and referrals to gender-based violence subsidy programs for individuals engaged with our services. Our shelter has a capacity for up to 40 people. Dedicated counsellors answer the distress line at all times to ensure support is always available.
