LGBT Foundation helpline provides thousands of hours of support and advice to thousands of people every year. Are you in need of a one-off call with a non-judgemental, friendly listening ear? Or do you need more active assistance in exploring what support may be available to you across the UK? We provide a friendly, non-judgemental service that understands that no matter where you are on your journey, from taking that first step forward or to the times when it feels like you are taking two steps back.

Whatever you may be currently experiencing, you do not have to navigate this alone, there is always support available should you be in need of it. The helpline has been running for over 50 years, and is staffed by a team of dedicated staff and volunteer operators all of whom receive extensive training and support.

We understand how anxious you might feel reaching out for support. When you call, you will find someone on the other end of the line with a friendly voice and a listening ear.
