National Shelter Movement of South Africa - Helpline

The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The helpline is operated by trained social workers with a wealth of knowledge and experience in all areas of gender-based violence and they ensure a victim centred approach to assisting all clients. The main function of the helpline is to ensure that every gender based violent related call is addressed and followed up and finalized from start to finish by the social worker that takes the call.
