About Triangle Project

Triangle Project offers free and confidential support and information by phone (0217126699). We serve lesbian, bisexual, queer, and same-sex attracted women—including trans and intersex women—across South Africa. Our helpline supports those dealing with anxiety, depression, family issues, gender and sexual identity, loneliness, relationships, school and work challenges, self-harm, substance use, suicidal thoughts, trauma, and PTSD. We also assist parents in understanding and embracing their LGBTIQ children’s sexuality or gender identity to foster supportive family relationships. When you contact us, you will speak with trained counselors who listen with empathy and help you find a meaningful way forward. Our service is available Monday to Sunday from 1 pm to 9 pm, and anyone can reach out regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, or religious beliefs.
